The name Gravel & Grace reflects the balance we wanted the place to have. Gravel is the grounded side: honest, unfussy and real. Grace is the care behind it: thoughtful food, genuine hospitality and attention to the little things.

Grounded in Good Things

Welcome to Gravel and Grace

Sitting on the corner of Cuba and Wakefield Streets in the heart of Wellington, Gravel & Grace is grounded in the good things — great coffee, honest food, warm hospitality and the simple pleasure of bringing people together.

We’re not trying to overcomplicate things. We want to be the kind of place you can drop into for your morning coffee, meet someone for breakfast, settle in over lunch, or simply grab something good on the way through the city.

A local hangout with a little character, a lot made in-house, and a belief that the best hospitality doesn’t need to shout.
